Petit Le Mont is one of our most popular French Sauvignon Blancs. The best part is that not only are you drinking a refreshingly crisp white wine, but you're also drinking an organic one!
Winemaking Notes: The Sauvignon Blanc vines are grown organically. The soils are worked mechanically, and grass is allowed to grow between the vines. The grapes are harvested at optimal maturity; the objective is to achieve perfect balance in the fruit. Grapes are sorted by hand before pressing. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks. The wine matures on the lees to add richness to the body. Bottling occurs in the spring following the harvest to preserve freshness and fruit.
Tasting Notes: The nose is very expressive with vibrant aromas of citrus fruit and hints of more exotic fruit. The mouthfeel is richly textured and full, which is pretty exceptional for a Sauvignon Blanc. Bags of personality, the wine has character enough to accompany grilled fish or cold cuts. It will awaken and stimulate the taste buds.
