Winemaking Notes: The 2019 Rose of Pinot Noir consists of 11 different wine lots harvested between August 14th and August 29th. The grapes were pressed whole cluster slowly and delicately, followed by long and cold fermentations in stainless steel tanks.
Vintage Notes: Northern California experienced another cool and wet winter which kept the vines dormant through late March/Early April. The springtime brought a mix of heat spells followed by cool and wet weather. Initial predictions were for a later harvest, but the warm summer months hastened the growing cycle of the vines. Harvest started at Scribe on August 14th with Rose of Pinot Noir and ended with the Atlas West Cabernet Sauvignon in mid-October.
Tasting Notes: Notes of peach blossom, yuzu and wild strawberry.
