Vineyard Notes: The fruit for this 2018 Pinot Noir was sourced from several vineyards in the Willamette Valley, grown on vines that were planted from 1985-2010. All the vineyards are dry-farmed using sustainable, organic, or biodynamic practices.

Winemaking Notes: Grapes went though a 21-day maceration with twice-daily pump overs for three days followed by twice-daily punch downs. The juice was then transferred to neutral French oak for 10 months before bottling.

Tasting Notes: Bright and aromatic with red cherry, sour cherry, and spice moving to riper mouth-filing fruit with juicy acid and a succulence on the finish.

Aromas of cocoa powder with brambly berries and cherries in behind, as well as forest-wood notes. The palate has a very fresh, fine and crisp feel with dark-berry, cherry and chocolate flavors holding sway over a fresh, chiseled-tannin finish. Drink or hold.

(Editors' Choice) Even in a Pinot portfolio packed with value, this may top them all. Pinpoint balance spotlights spicy berry fruit, ripe and well-managed tannins, and surprising length. The herbal highlights are properly constrained, and the finish suggest that it could even age further for up to five years.
