About Mauzac Rose: Cazottes Adèle is made from the Mauzac Rose grape, which is a native variety of the Gaillac region. It is a rose variant clone of Mauzac Blanc that takes on a pinkish gray color.

Winemaking Notes: Fruit is harvested by hand. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation occurs spontaneously in fiberglass and cement tanks with indigenous yeast. Mauzac Rose is an oxidative variety, so Laurent avoids racking as much as possible. The Adèle Blanc is aged sur lie in tank and is bottled unfiltered and unfined.

Tasting Notes: This cuvee is a textural, richer white wine with inviting density. Aromatics include jasmine, acacia and pear. The palate is crisp and dry, with notes of orchard fruit, green apples and quince. It has good aging potential.
