The Furstentum Vineyard: The Furstentum vineyard is composed of calcareous soil consisting of a pebbly structure. The vineyard is south-facing and sloping, providing exposure to the sun and resulting in a unique Mediterranean-like flora. This terroir produces full-bodied, age worthy wines with complex and powerful aromatics.

Winemaking Notes: Fermentation occurred spontaneously with indigenous yeast in stainless steel tanks. The wine was poured into oak barrel where it was aged for 10 to 12 months.

Tasting Notes: This Pinot Noir is a bright, purple shade of ruby red. The nose is open, delicately smoked with a note of morello cherry and liquorice. The mouth is full-bodied, fine, ending with a signature of smoky and earthy notes reminiscent of Italian Piedmont wines on the finish
