40% Old Vine Zinfandel from Hawkeye Ranch in Mendocino and 40% lightly macerated Pinot gris from Clarksburg make the majority of the blend of the 2023 Populis Rose. The remainder is a blend of Nero d'Avola, Carbonic Cinsault, French Colombard and Orange Muscat. Populis' style of rose has some fleshiness and texture, but always great acidity, fruit, and a nice aromatic kick.
