Renaissance is a limited blanc de noirs from Vadin-Plateau’s vineyards in the premier cru village Cumières. The vineyards are farmed organically. The grapes ferment with native yeast in stainless steel and then mature for two years on the lees. Malolactic fermentation occurs. The dosage is three grams per liter. This cuvee consists of 80% vintage 2014 and 20% vintage 2013. The wine is neither fined nor filtered.
Tasting Notes: This champagne is complex and dynamic showing aromas and flavors of minerals, yellow fruits and spice. It is fresh yet soft on the palate. It exhibits outstanding and impressive quality.

"Vadin-Plateau, located in Cumieres in the Vallée de la Marne, has been around since 1785, yet few people have heard of them. Their non-vintage "Renaissance" cuvée is 100% Meunier, and offers rich fruit flavors of pear and strawberry with a light yeastiness. The acidity is not as high as with many Champagnes, meaning the finish is round and soft, making this an ideal Champagne for consumers that aren't looking for something exceptionally dry. Nicely balanced, enjoy this over the next two to three years with veal filet or chicken with a mushroom sauce."
