History: 35 years! The 2019 vintage marks the 35th anniversary of Flora Springs flagship Trilogy red blend. The genesis of Trilogy, one of Napa Valley’s first Bordeaux-style red blends, dates back to 1984 when the family decided to make the best wine possible by selecting the highest quality wine lots culled from their estate vineyards in Napa Valley. Trilogy continues to be sourced exclusively from the Komes-Garvey estate vineyards from St. Helena, Rutherford and Oakville.

Aging: 18 months, 80% French oak, 20% American oak

Napa Valley 2019 Vintage Rated 97 points by Wine Spectator: "A wet spring resulted in less overt tannic structure, with small, concentrated berries delivering dense yet pure fruit flavors. Harvest stretched into October thanks to very moderate temperatures in August and September. Wines are ripe and lush yet well-defined; a worthy follow-up to the benchmark 2018 vintage."

Tasting Notes: The 2019 is a classic Bordeaux blend of estate-grown varieties dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon with a supporting cast of Malbec, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. Ripe and succulent, the wine sports flavors of cassis, currant and black plum shaded with notes of vanilla crème, black licorice, cola and sweet earth. Open textured with smooth tannins and a juicy, inviting finish, this Trilogy will reward cellaring for at least 15 years.

A plush fruit bomb, with waves of plum sauce, warmed cassis and cherry puree, laced with signed vanilla and ending with a creamy finish. For the hedonist crowd. Drink now through 2028.
