Laurent Cazottes 2020 'Champetre' Blanc, Vin de France (Gaillac)

Vineyard Notes: In order to promote the territory, Laurent Cazottes started collaborating with vigneron in his area who share the same philosophy of winemaking. This wine is made from a special selection of grapes carefully chosen when the vintages are good.

Vinification: Fermentation occurs with native yeast in order to respect the typicity of the terroir. Champêtre is aged in tank on its fine lees to preserve freshness and fruit flavors. The wine is not fined or filtered. It is bottled with a low dose of sulfites not exceeding 20mg/L.

Tasting Notes: This is an expressive white wine with lots of yellow and white fruit flavors like peach and pear. The nose also shows white flowers and a hint of honey. The palate is fresh, precise and sincerely seductive.
