Tasting Notes: Something about Pinot Gris makes it perfect for skin maceration. While many develop pink and more rosé like tones, this Slovak version is a beautiful orange. It has a red wine tannic structure with white Alsatian-like aromatics--tropical and spicy on the palate. The signature Slobodne "good herbaceousness" is present, which is reminiscent of horseradish and pickled wasabi. This is a banger and so unique.
