Soil Type: Mendoza River (rock, clay and caliche) and Gualtallary (sand and limestone)
Elevation: 1,000-1,400 meters
Vineyard Notes: From grapes grown in two different places: 50% come from estate vineyards in Perdriel by the banks of the Mendoza River (rocky soils, clay and caliche) and the remainder come from vines grown in high elevation plots at 1,400 meters over sand and limestone soils located in Gualtallary.
Winemaking Notes: The grapes are manually harvested, destemmed, and put into concrete vats for spontaneous fermentation for some weeks. The wine then ages in used French oak barrels until the following vintage. It is bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with low-to-no SO2 at bottling.
