This wine is a parcel selection Chardonnay from the climat of Varron composed of limestone with red clay. The vines were planted in 1956.
Winemaking Notes: Chardonnay fruit is harvested by hand from organically farmed vines. Whole cluster grapes are direct pressed. Fermentation occurs spontaneously in neutral oak with indigenous yeasts. The 'Varron' is bottled without fining or filtration and with no added SO2.
