Dime is a perfect ten. Dark black and blue fruit combine with complex earthy notes in this exquisite Santa Ynez Valley cuvée.
Winemaking Notes: Dime is a red blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot from two of the most prime spots in the Santa Barbara County. The vines are around 15 years old. Grapes were picked at 24.5 brix for fruit and texture. The juice fermented in stainless steel tanks before aging for 14 months in 40% new French oak. Pumpovers during fermentation provided gentle extraction, which resulted in a wine with soft tannins and a lush, velvety texture.
