Terroir Notes: Massal selection of old Verdejo vines was used to plant this gobelet trained vineyard.

Tasting Notes: While lovely all year round, this is a great winter white. On the nose, notes of sour citrus and tangerine. The palate has incredible texture and depth of flavor; it pleasantly hugs the mouth.

"Ismael Gozalo is the founder and proprietor of MicroBio. He gets grapes from a variety of sources, but his home territory is the village of Nieva in Castilla y Léon, northwest of Madrid. This particular wine, Correcaminos, was made of old vines of verdejo, farmed organically, aged in steel vats and bottled without sulfur dioxide. It’s slightly cloudy, fresh and alive, with earthy, refreshing flavors of fruits, flowers and herbs."
