Terroir Notes: Falanghina is the main variety in Sannio and overall Campania. The Falanghina vine is vigorous, producing a generous crop, and requires soils with water availability. For this reason, Perlingieri's Falanghina is cultivated on their lower plots of land with volcanic sandy and calcareous soils. The name Preta – local dialect name for stone – evokes the soil characteristic of the vineyards where the grapes are cultivated.

"Apple, citrus fruit and mint on the simple, straightforward nose and mouth. Still, this has a building quality with aeration, offering sneaky concentration and a welcome gingery finish."
