Winemaking Notes: The Pinot Blanc fruit was direct pressed and aged in stainless steel.

2019 Vintage Notes: A wet, but warm spring with a few mild frosts during late April and fewer than average heat spikes. Near-record precipitation amounts during late June and early July brought increased disease pressure to the region. The vintage will be remembered for the early rains in September and rapid cool down into October which challenged harvesting decisions. The cool vintage came largely from substantially lower maximum temperatures while minimum temperatures were near average to slightly above average. A classic Oregon vintage!

Tasting Notes: Aromatics of the Brook's 2019 Pinot Blanc include Anjou pear, fresh camomile, citrus blossoms, flint and white peony. On the palate, notes of lemon, beeswax, pineapple, mango and pear skin. This is beautifully bright wine, with racy acidity, minerality and lush herbal, citrus and tropical notes.

In an excellent vintage for all the Brooks white wines, this Pinot Blanc is a particular success. The house style favors stainless steel, high acidity whites, which brings up the complex aromatics of citrus blossom and rind. The texture, minerality and flinty persistence provide a dense underpinning to a lingering finish.
