Vineyard Notes: Scribe's estate vineyard on the southwest-facing slope of Arrowhead Mountain. Neustadt 90 Clone and Clone 110 are planted on St. George rootstock in volcanic tuff and the local Huichica Loam soil.

Vintage Notes: Northern California experienced another cool and wet winter which kept the vines dormant through late March/Early April. The springtime brought a mix of heat spells followed by cool and wet weather. Initial predictions were for a later harvest, but the warm summer months hastened the growing cycle of the vines. Harvest started at Scribe on August 14th with rosé of Pinot Noir and ended with the Atlas West Cabernet Sauvignon in mid-October.

Winemaking Notes:
Whole cluster pressed, settled for 24 hours, and then racked off gross lees. The wine underwent native fermentation in a stainless steel tank and was bottled on November 18th, 2019 with 15 .6 g/L of residual sugar. Fermentation finished in bottle over the following weeks. No disgorgement necessary.

Tasting Notes: This Riesling Scribe Pét Nat has notes of white rose, quince and kishu mandarin.
