About the Name: "Pour Ma Gueule" is a term commonly used by French vintners which translates to "for my gob" and usually refers to a stash of wine determined too good to sell to the public and reserved for the winemakers' personal consumption.
Vineyard Notes: Grapes are sourced from several small, low-yielding vineyards of bush vines on granite soils in the Itata Valley. The vineyards average 3 acres in size and 55 years in age. Farmed lutte raisonée .
Winemaking Notes: Grapes for each varietal are harvested, vinified, and aged separately and then blended together before bottling. After a 10-day cold soak, the wine was made in concrete. Aged on the lees for 12 months and bottled lightly filtered.
Tasting Notes: This wine has red berries, black cherry and pepper with bright acidity and fine tannins.

"The light, fresh and easy-drinking 2018 Pour Ma Gueule is a blend of 85% Cinsault, 8% País, 5% Malbec and 2% Carignan, mostly from Itata but with some grapes from Cauquenes in Maule. Unoaked and bottled with 13% alcohol, it has a tender palate and moderate acidity. It has a light color and a primary nose of red berries and a juicy palate with fine tannins and high drinkability. Balanced and fresh, very tasty."
