Vineyard Notes: Perlingieri owns 13 hectares of vineyards in Solopaca, in a province of Benevento (Sannio), which is near Monte Taburno.

Winemaking Notes: Vento is 100% estate-grown Greco (the same variety used for Greco di Tufo). Harvest is manual. The bunches are destemmed and run through a sorting table to remove leaves and stems (a technique that is normal for expensive, fine wines but not at all common in this area or at this price). The grapes are in contact with the skins for a short time and then softly pressed. Fermentation occurs in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. Wine ages for 8 months in stainless steel before a minimum of 12 months in the bottle. Vento Greco does not go through malolactic fermentation.

Tasting Notes: The medium-bodied palate is round and lush with good acidity and persistent fruit. The minerality and acidity shines in its youth. Honey, apricot, almond, and hints of petrol can show as it ages.
