The Correcaminos Rosado is made for  Selections de la Vina as part of the MicroBio trilogy.

Vineyard Notes: Ismael’s family owns some of the oldest (between 100-200 years old) ungrafted pre-phylloxera vines in Rueda. These head trained vines have never seen any chemicals over the different generations that have cared for them.

Winemaking Notes: The Tempranillo grapes are destemmed and macerate for just a few hours. Fermentation occurs naturally with native yeast. A small amount of Verdejo must is added for freshness and finesse. The lees are removed after fermentation to preserve the wine's fruitiness. It has a final transfer prior to bottling, which is done following the phases of the moon and the biodynamic calendar. No sulfites are added. The wine is not fined or filtered.

Tasting Notes: Correcaminos Rosado has an incredible color reminiscent of grapefruit juice. It is fresh and dynamic on the palate: grapefruit and citrus with some strawberry puree. Richly textured, this rosé wine drinks like a spritzy sour beer. It is a lot of fun.
