Tasting Notes: Incredibly elegant aromas of jasmine and lemon with tart notes of kiwi and pear skin show on the palate. This is a vibrant, dry Riesling with bright, thirst-quenching acidity. Salty crunch of lemon rind, oyster shell and flaked Celtic sea salt yield a seriously food-friendly wine.
2019 Vintage Notes: Willamette Valley had a wet, but warm spring with a few mild frosts during late April and fewer than average heat spikes. Near-record precipitation amounts during late June and early July brought increased disease pressure to the region. The vintage will be remembered for the early rains in September and rapid cool down into October, which challenged harvesting decisions. The cool vintage came largely from substantially lower maximum temperatures while minimum temperatures were near average to slightly above average. 2019 is a classic Oregon vintage!
