Vineyard Notes: The grapes for this cuvée come from a four-hectare hillside parcel of clay and limestone soil blessed with an exceptional substratum marked by a bed of fossilized oysters dating from the Tertiary era. The hillside vineyards overlook the Garonne River and face south as they slope down towards the river. The vines have an average age of 20 years (as of 2011).
Winemaking Notes: After a manual harvest the grapes are destemmed and fermented with indigenous yeast in temperature-controlled stainless steel and concrete tanks. The wine is left in contact with its lees for 3 months with regular stirring. The wine is fined and filtered before bottling.
Tasting Notes: Grapefruit, passion fruit, mango and pineapple aromas; soft and fresh on the palate.
