Otto is Prà's entry level Soave Classico. It is a blend of multiple parcels between 30 and 60 years old.

Pruning System: Pergola Veronese and Guyot
Harvest: Manual

Winemaking Notes: The grapes are softly pressed before undergoing fermentation at 54-58 degrees Fahrenheit. The wine ferments and matures in stainless steel vats. Otto does not undergo malolactic fermentation.

Tasting Notes: The bouquet is bursting with notes of flowers (hawthorn and jasmine) and bright yellow fruit (lemon, peach and apricots). On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied and flavorful, full of citrus fruit and clear mineral notes. It is dangerously delicious! Really good as an aperitif paired with delicate bites or sweet Parma ham and fresh cheese. Excellent with pasta, seafood or vegetable soups.

Nectarine, lemon peel and white flowers on the flint-accented nose. Harmonious but bright acidity provides clarity and cut to the mineral orchard and herbal flavors. Finishes long and saline, with lip-smacking freshness. In my opinion, this wine is one of the top ten best buys in white wine that Italy offers just about every year, and it’s no different in this vintage. Well done. The wine’s name is that of Graziano Pra’s beloved dog (a Border Collie).

A lively, well-spiced white, with zippy acidity framing flavors of cantaloupe, Key lime zest and Marcona almond, set in a light-bodied frame. Minerally finish. Drink now through 2022.
