Vineyard Notes: The Bonarda grapes are sourced from the Manuel Pelegrina Vineyard in Tupungato, a subregion of Uco Valley, Mendoza. The vineyard was planted in 1972 and is comprised of 10 acres of sandy soil located at an altitude of 3,940 feet.
Winemaking Notes: This 100% carbonic macerated Bonarda was harvested by hand over four separate passages. Fermentation occurred with indigenous yeast.
Tasting Notes: A seductively perfumed nose evokes fruit notes of blueberry, cherry, and raspberry. The vibrant fruit-dominated vinose, leads to a soft and round mid palate, held together by firm tannins and bright acidity.
