About the Wine: Bigaro is a softly sweet, gently effervescent salmon-colored sparkler made from Brachetto and Moscato grapes. Similar to Moscato, it substitutes red fruits for Moscato’s typical tropical fruits.
Vineyard Notes: The vines average between 25 and 60 years old. Perrone's vineyards are face northwest. Stefano Perrone believes that ripeness is easy to achieve if yields are kept reasonable. His vineyards cool down in the evening and, thus, are able to retain more acidity and freshness.

"The rose colored dessert wine (Moscato and Brachetto) offers up floral red raspberries, cinnamon, flowers, sweet herbs and a host of other aromas and flavors. A perennial favorite."
Beyond Barolo and Brunello by Tom Hyland (2012)
"Bright cherry in appearance, this is a frizzante wine with heavenly perfumes of yellow peaches, musk oil and raspberries...Enjoy it as its freshest with a simple serving of fresh fruit or even on its own."
