New to our domestic portfolio is The Climber, owned by Kit Crawford and Gary Erickson of Clif Family Winery. You may know them as the people behind Clif Bar & Company. They have always had a passion for the outdoors and great food and wine. After a long day of hiking or cycling, they enjoy nothing better than relaxing over a meal with family and friends enjoyed over a great bottle of wine. It was in fact a cycling trip through Europe where they first discovered their love for wine and food. A day of cycling would inevitably end with a long meal and a great bottle of wine. After moving to Napa Valley in 1997, this passion continued, and they began making their own wine in 2004. Now with winemakers Bruce Regalia and Sarah Gott, they are committed to making high quality, affordable wines sourced from sustainable or organic vineyards whenever possible. The Climber wines are food-friendly, affordable and amazing quality in every glass. They now come in a unique pouch format (more details below) or in a traditional bottle. The fruit is sourced from growers that have demonstrated a commitment to the environment and sustainable farming of their land.
