The property was bought by Chanel in 1994. The chateau takes its name from Pierre des Mesures de Rauza who purchased it in 1661 and developed it into vineyards. 52 hectares of Garonne Günz gravel, with a subsoil of deep gravel with limestone veins. Harvested by hand. Internal temperature control in stainless steel tanks. 20 to 22 months in 70% new barrels (30% of the barrels have been used once). Approximately 10,000 cases per year of Chateau Rauzan-Segla and 10,000 cases of Segla.
